Biggest challenge and WHY do we need you?

As People & Culture intern, you will help us to build and support our growing international team. You will work closely with the HR Admin on all HR related tasks and with our Talent Collectors on all recruitment activities. So, you’ll be involved in every HR process and working on operational, administrative and strategic levels!


That’s what we call making impact.


What will you be doing to make that happen?

  • First point of contact to support employees and managers on HR related questions;
  • Coordinating the onboarding process of new employees;
  • Maintaining and updating HR documentation, update employee details in HR software;
  • Assisting in meaningful projects, for example about new to open hotels;
  • Supporting in recruitment activities, conduct Skype calls and interviews
  • Representing The Student Hotel at career events and internship fairs;

Requirements

Who are you?  

You will both be a dedicated student as well as a valued TSH team member. You will have up-close, behind the scenes involvement at The Student Hotel and the Human Resources department which you’ll never find in a class room!

 

Background:

  • Smart! Bachelor student of Human Resources, Hospitality or related;
  • Looking for a meaningful internship experience;
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), Dutch is a big plus;
  • Available for an internship of minimum 20 weeks, starting September 2019.
  • Legally permitted to work and live in the Netherlands.

Important note: To be our intern you have to be enrolled in a school/college
