Why we need you

As a finance department intern, you will play a very important role in the day-to-day business operation of The Student Hotel, including the hotels, restaurants and TSH Collab locations. You will be part of the Northern Europe finance team that is responsible for accounting and control of all TSH locations, within Northern Europe. Your main focus will be to assist the finance team with day to day operations. The team is looking for a finance intern for a period of at least 6 months to start as soon as possible.

What you’ll be doing to make it happen 

Assist the finance team in different roles: accounts payable, receivable, income audit, F&B cost control – meaning you will:

  • assist in collecting outstanding debtors
  • resolve any reminders from suppliers
  • respond to inquiries about payments from suppliers and or clients (students)
  • support in daily controls of revenue and settlements
  • support the month-end process
  • support ad-hoc requests
  • participate in process improvement projects
  • assist in internal audit and compliance projects


Who are you?

You’re an excel master and know your way around both PMS and POS systems. You know how to make your colleagues laugh even after picking up on their own mistakes – there shall be no awkward beer drinking here!



  • Studying for bachelor’s degree ideally in finance, business or hospitality industry
  • Passion for the hospitality industry
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • High proficiency in English
  • Other languages will be an advantage
