Why we need you
The Brand & Innovation team defines the heart and soul of The Student Hotel. The team, including the brand manager, is responsible for the strategy, creation and execution for the company’s brand communication channels, across all touch points from our digital platforms to interior design of our hotels and internal communication. Our team covers brand communications, public relations, design, partnerships and community engagement. 

We’re looking for a brand project manager to work on the overall brand strategy for all our (sub) brands such as The Commons (F&B), Collab (co-working), TSH Campus and making sure that guidelines are in place for all these (sub) brands. Responsibilities include project management and production of campaigns and other brand projects, aligning within Brand & Innovation and other departments on complete briefings and needed brand assets. 


We need you to take the lead in briefing and planning the production with our internal studio and/ or external suppliers and make sure that all happens within given budgets and timings. You will maintain a close connection to all stakeholders, updating them regularly on progress – so that in the end all brand materials, assets and campaigns are signed off and distributed accordingly.


You will report to our creative services director and work alongside our creative director of brand and in-house creative team of designers, copywriters and content creators.

What you’ll be doing to make it happen 

  • Responsible for the strategy, planning, and project management of all brand related projects
  • Work closely with our performance marketing department to deliver on communication objectives across all product categories, e.g. hotel, student, short stay, Commons and Collab
  • Collect input from involved departments and align brand and commercial goals
  • Handle internal campaign and communication briefs from other departments to ensure delivery of all creative assets, on-time and on-budget, for example HR/employer branding, sales campaigns and new product innovations
  • Work with the creative services team to prioritize, resource plan and deliver on projects
  • Manage video and photoshoots
  • Create compelling guest stories that strengthen our brand positioning and fulfil our mission to change the world for good
  • Work with the creative and PR team to enforce the brand story that include brand values, style guides, tone-of-voice – raise brand awareness and support new product launches
  • Define and delivery projects that increase guest satisfaction across all channels
  • Manage budgets, report progress and ensure proper investment with maximum impact.


Who are you?

  • You have about 4+ years of professional working experience, of which a minimum of two years in a brand management role, preferably in a fast-paced and extremely competitive (startup) environment
  • You have an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the pan-European market and several years of brand communications experience in the hospitality industry
  • You are entrepreneurial and you’re data and process-driven
  • You have a creative mind, but you know how to combine this with excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical capabilities
  • You know how to motivate yourself and maintain a proactive mindset
  • With the above skills, you are able to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and keep within budgets
  • You have experience in working with international teams and stakeholder management
  • You are a fluent in English and ideally other languages (Dutch, French, German and Spanish)
  • You have degree in communications or business administration with a focus on marketing or equivalent.
