The brand partnerships and relationships manager is expected to create a long-term focussed partnerships portfolio, specialised in different fields of expertise, exceeding the demands of the fast pace and everchanging hospitality industry. What will you be doing to make that happen?

The brand partnerships and relationships manager is tasked with building sustainable relationships with our partners and other strategic parties (The Student Hotel ambassadors and friends) and consequently, seeking for new growth opportunities. Via co-creation and collaboration, we create fun and inspiring customer experiences across Europe. The job involves finding those matching brands and merging them with the TSH products, services and our complete connected community. You develop new partnerships while maintaining our existing relationship portfolio and network daily.

To cater our partners, you’re responsible for developing the right strategic partner – packaging offers, negotiation contracts and all on-boarding. The role requires strategic thinking, networking, preferable experience in bigger size events and global partner and relationship management. With a direct report to the director of partnerships and community, you’ll operate within the partnership and community team within the company’s brand and innovation department.


What you’ll be doing to make it happen

  • Be in charge of the strategic partnerships and relationship program for The Student Hotel
  • Create solid and long-term relationships with selected partners by building impactful and relevant co-branded activations and campaigns
  • Build strong relationships and bridges across The Student Hotel organization through collaboration and communication
  • Develop and plan a cohesive scope of brand events and partnerships
  • Develop an overall cohesive set of packages shaped to our partners
  • Create groundbreaking co-produced and branded experiences to engage our TSH communities and connect with new audiences
  • Lead and drive partnership agreements, manage negotiations to close deals and handle onboarding of new partners
  • Keep track on budgets and outputs of the partnership agreement
  • Maintain and activate the partnership portfolio as well as European network of our relationships
  • Work closely with cross-department internal stakeholders: sales, procurement, operations, marketing, connectors and event teams

Requirements

Background

  • Deep partner engagement skills and capability of maintaining healthy relationships with key partners on a decision-making level
  • A minimum of five years' experience in business development, partner and relationship management
  • Pro-active and solution-oriented attitude and a good set of social flair
  • Strong lead generation experience and a track record of closing deals
  • Strategic thinking skills as well as exceptional creative, planning and project management talents
  • Capability to make the best of limited resources
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and stakeholder influencing skills
  • A strong entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to address challenges and opportunities
  • Self-motivated drive in a fast-paced and multifaceted environment, showing the ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Crisis management skills
  • Affinity and/or experience in events and hospitality industry

  • Available to travel to our other locations for days or weeks at a time and work flexible hours if requested
  • Legally permitted to work and live in the Netherlands/ European Union
