As a Banquet Sales Coordinator, you’ll be in charge of all meetings and events hosted at The Student Hotel.

We’re looking for a naturally disciplined organizer, who loves to go that extra mile to feel connected to guests, colleagues, and of course The Student Hotel. You’ll thrive to deliver our consistent, highest level of hospitality, whilst bearing in mind our shared values in whatever you do.




The day-to-day
You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all meeting and events departments, together with all administrative tasks and logistics. In the rapidly changing environment of hospitality, it’s a priority for you to stay on top of market trends, and ahead of the competition.


How you’ll make it happen:

  • Client contact: you’ll be the first point of contact for all our clients (and potential clients too), liaising over calls, emails and meet & greets. Your agenda will be nicely full!
  • Structure & overview: you’ll prepare, update and file all the (F&B) info about the meetings & events taking place in TSH Vienna (including data) – you have the facts & figures.
  • Team contact: you’re the go-to meetings and events person for all relevant teams within TSH Vienna – and you host the weekly update to align them.
  • Reservations and bookings: you’ll help shape reservations and booking technology for TSH, as well as establish and nurture new prospects.
  • Management and customer requests: you’ll assist with management requests and be willing to fulfill any special requirements that add to the general comfort and well being of our guests.

Requirements

You're the true Vienna F&B rockstar, who likes to stand out and constantly challenge the status quo.
You know the right crowd, the top trends, the hippest parties. And, crucially, how to organize them!


When it comes to our guests, you’ll need to be a naturally people orientated person. That means you’re helpful, approachable and have the ability to promote hotel catering and events facilities, maximizing sales opportunities at all times.


Background:

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience (in banqueting/hospitality is a plus)
  • Fluent in German and English (verbal and written)
  • A positive can-do attitude towards working within a team
  • Highly organised, with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Sales driven and commercially aware
  • Ability to maximize revenue stream and grow success opportunities

Must have: You’re eligible to work in Austria.
