Biggest challenge and WHY do we need you?

So, we are opening our brand new Vienna location.. How are we going to make it a success? 


Easy: by getting the right talents in to build and enhance the local & TSH communities inside our hotel, restaurant and event spaces!

Being a people person, you are partly responsible for recruitment, training, development and performance management of the staff; you manage the floor supervisors during their shifts; you are responsible for the overall guest experience. 


You are also a numbers and operations person: you monitor labor costs, efficiency improvement and work towards maintaining and improving service and product standards. 


Basically, you’re the kind of person who loves a challenge and takes enormous pleasure in taking on crucial responsibilities.

 

What will you be doing to make that happen? 

  • Arranging for training and development opportunities for staff;
  • Maintaining staff schedules – including review and approval/denial of leave requests;
  • Performance management conversations with staff;
  • Ensuring all resources are available to staff to enable them to perform their tasks in a proper and timely manner;
  • Being part of the overall guest experience - informing guests of the menu, assisting with drink- and dinner choices, taking orders, communicating with kitchen, preparing drinks & simple snacks and serving of dishes; 
  • Monitoring accurate execution of HACCP guidelines, fire safety policy and working conditions.

Requirements

Who are you?

You have that winning combination of sparkling personality and sharp methodical mind.. As our Assistant F&B Manager, you have a helicopter view of what goes in the restaurant, banqueting, bars, etc...


Background:

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in an (assistant) managerial role at a restaurant;
  • HACCP certified;
  • Strong interest and knowledge of wine and food;
  • Excellent knowledge of restaurant service skills;
  • Excellent skills in training and coaching staff. 

Important note: To be a part of our community an Austrian work permit is required
