Biggest challenge and WHY do we need you?

As Accounts Receivable Employee you will be part of our Northern European finance team. You will play an important role in the day to day business operation of The Student Hotel, for portfolio of entities ranging from hotels, restaurants and co-working facilities. Your focus is to make sure all accounts receivable transactions are recorded correctly; any discrepancies are resolved, and collection is managed on a timely basis.   

 What will you be doing to make that happen?

  • Ensure timely invoicing for meetings and events, house accounts and corporate customers in our hotels, restaurants and co-working entities for Northern Europe.
  • Respond to quest inquiries about invoicing and payments in a timely manner
  • Reinvoice IC accounts from our PMS System
  • Ensure that reminders are send out timely and any disputes are acted upon
  • Verify and record movements on the deposit accounts
  • Be the main contact person for reservation and hotel teams for any account receivables related questions / queries
  • Resolve any discrepancies between AR accounts in our financial system and PMS System
  • Support in the month end closing process
  • Support in ad hoc requests
  • Participate in the finance team process improvement projects.


Who are you?  

You’re an ambitious starter or with 1-2-year experience in a similar role with passion for finance who enjoys working in an international hospitality company.


  • Bachelor’s degree level, ideally in business or hospitality
  • Passion for the hospitality industry
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (fluent in English and preferably Dutch)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent planning skills and ability to deal with time limits
